About Gina:

Hello students! I am an animal scientist who has an avid interest in teaching and helping students appreciate the wonders of science! I served as a teaching assistant for nearly 7 years at the University of california, Davis during my graduate education. I assisted with multiple animal science courses (companion animal biology, animal welfare science, introduction to animal science, etc.) as well as general biology courses. Because I completed 2 large-scale research studies for my Master's and PhD work, so I have a fairly strong knowledge of statistics. Therefore, I would be a very competent tutor for biology (high school and undergraduate level) as well as basic statistics courses. I also love reading and English, so would be happy to help with those subjects as well (although I do not have an official degree in those areas).
