General Comments

Senior Director, Global Supply Chain Management (Drug Product )


Oversight of planning and manufacturing at CMOs and internal commercial manufacturing sites; leads and coordinates Strategic Material and Purchasing Plans, which ensure that production and capacity levels are available and executed to support sales forecasts and growth. Internal supply chain teams will report directly to their respective site or functional leadership and support the execution of the Global Strategic Plans.




This position will lead, control, and communicate global inventory and safety stock positions, which ensure all that commitments are met to sustain both the patient/market requirements.

As Senior Director of the Supply Chain this person must provide strategic leadership for all Sales and Operations Planning, continuous improvement for operational sustainability and scalability initiatives, and recommend pro:active optimization for global demand and supply chain requirements.




Oversees Global/Corporate Production and Materials Plans, including specific site projects that may impact commercial and clinical operations.

Ensures operational continuity within the corporate guidelines, policies, and including cGMP practices.

Reviews, approves, and/or implements changes to controlled documents as needed. Coordinates interdepartmental and multisite activity with Quality Assurance, Commercial Drug Substance and Drug Product Manufacturing, Purchasing, Finance, Engineering,

Inventory Control, Shipping and Receiving, and Contract Administration/Legal.


Qualified candidate will redevelop the Sales and Operations Planning meeting to ensure strategic collaboration and communication occurs across functional departments.



Develop long term planning tools and methodologies including enhanced forecasting and (Oracle) advanced supply chain methods.

Develops new applications for forecasting, scheduling, and inventory management for use with the Oracle Global Advanced Supply Chain Planning (ASCP) module.

Lead the achievement of inventory balance and delivery contribution against company goals and targets.

Develop consistent metrics, reports, and communication tools with key business partners.

Responsible for developing and directing the overall strategy of drug product production planning and material and inventory control activities.
