Position Summary:
Grow business travel revenue on JetBlue Airways through the promotion of the airlineÁ’s unique competitive advantages. This manager will be responsible for driving transient, meetings, and convention revenue the San Francisco Bay area, with a secondary focus on Seattle, Portland, Salt Lake City and Denver.
Essential Functions:
Á• Educate Corporate Travel Managers on why JetBlue should be incorporated into their companyÁ’s travel program
Á• Recommend and execute implementation strategy based on travel program structure
Á• Target relevant Travel Management Corporations that book substantial business in key markets
Á• Work with key CVBÁ’s and meeting planner groups to drive convention and corporate meetings revenue.
Á• Pomote JetBlueÁ’s corporate booking tool, CompanyBlue, where appropriate
Á• Account management of current clients with the goal of growing incremental revenue
Á• Present the JetBlue Experience and represent the Á“High Value CarrierÁ” platform in front of large audiences at conferences and corporate events
Á• Recommend sales and pricing strategies to our internal Á“Marketwatch GroupÁ” based on local market data
Á• Identify new strategic distribution channels that present JetBlue inventory to corporate and other select audiences
Á• Assist with the training and development of the Sales Support Desk (inside sales) to ensure Crewmembers understand the corporate market and are able to provide the appropriate level of service to new corporate accounts
Á• Liaise with airports to ensure Crewmembers are aware of relevant Sales and Marketing initiatives
Á• Act as Project Manager on various Sales and Marketing initiatives
Á• Assist with promotional events in key business markets in your territory

Supervision Received:
Á• Plans and carries out work assignments and handles problems in accordance with instructions, policies, previous training, or accepted practices in the occupation. Consults with Crewleader on unique situations which do not have clear precedents
Supervisory Duties:
Á• No supervisory responsibility
.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Á• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office, especially Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Á• Knowledge of airline industry trends and travel technology is preferred but not required
Á• Excellent written, verbal and public speaking skills
Á• Excellent organizational skills
Á• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
