Position Description: The internship position is an exciting opportunity for an outstanding undergrad or recent graduate to hone writing and editing skills, participate in program management, and gain exposure to the fields of nonprofit management and socially responsible business. Approximately 75% of the intern's time will be dedicated to compiling, editing, and creating a marketing plan for a guide to MBA programs that will be published on netimpact.org in PDF format. The guide will be a compilation of short write-ups on different graduate programs authored by students at each program. The remainder of the position will have administrative responsibilities, with the opportunity for leadership, creativity, and project management. Key Roles and Responsibilities: - Compile and edit Business as Unusual (see 2007 version at www.netimpact.org/bizschoolguide) - Support Membership / Chapter Team in range of projects designed to build Net Impact's global network Desired Qualifications: - Excellent writing and editing skills - Ability to learn and use computer graphics programs - Sophomore, Junior, Senior, or recent graduate at four-year university - Excellent organizational skills - Ability to work independently and creatively - Interest and commitment to nonprofit management and the Net Impact mission Internship runs from mid June 2008 through the end of August 2008.
