Position: Oncology Early Development Team Leader

My client is seeking an Oncology Early Development Team Leader/Senior Early Development Team Leader.

This individual will be responsible for leading a team that is
responsible for translating my clients' leading late stage research oncology molecules into Development candidates and IND filings and early clinical development.

The successful candidate will lead a cross functional team and be responsible for Development Assessment and Research activities.

Teams include scientists from Discovery, Pharmacokinetics/Pharmacodynamics, Diagnostics, Safety Assessment, Assay Development, Process Development, Formulation, Clinical, Market Planning and Commercial. They collaborate closely with Research, Process Development, Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Product Development and Commercial departments, in order to meet business and scientific objectives.

The individual is responsible for the direction and leadership of an Early Development Team including scientific oversight of activities, budget, planning, and staffing. They will be a part of the BioOncology Early Development organization.

The successful candidate should be passionate about pre-clinical and early clinical oncology drug development, have a PhD, MD, or equivalent, expertise in translational oncology, experience in early phase non-clinical and clinical drug development and Regulatory knowledge, including IND filings. Demonstrated leadership skills and motivation of teams and excellent cross-functional collaborations along with oncology early drug development expertise are essential. At least 5 years of industry experience in drug development is preferred.

Compensation commensurate with qualifications and experience.
