Description
We're currently seeking a Senior Software Engineer I/II to join our Business Intelligence team located in San Francisco. Data generated by the Business Intelligence systems is at the base of critical day-to-day business decisions and long-term growth strategies. The Senior Software Engineer I/II is responsible for developing applications supporting our Business Intelligence distributed data warehouse environment. Will be involved in all phases of the software development life cycle: analysis, design, development, validation and production support. The ideal candidate is a creative thinker with strong database development skills and experience dealing with high volume data processing and analytics using distributed systems.
Requirements:
- Strong Perl, C/C++, bash and Unix skills
- Experience developing against very large relational databases, and dealing with extremely large data sets
- Experience developing and operating data warehousing/ETL applications with Oracle
- Data modeling and design/architecture for OLAP environments
- Java, Tomcat, Brio skills
- Experience in web/clickstream analytics
