CDI IT Solutions has a great opportunity for a Sr. Messaging/Network Engineer for our client in San Francisco, CA. This is a contract position.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Our client is searching for a senior messaging engineer to join their Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of Microsoft server solutions including Exchange, Linux and knowledge of 3rd party application environments regarding messaging (archiving, encryption, mail routing).
Candidate should have experience working in a large corporate environment where the team member must follow corporate policies regarding security, audit, and change control processes. The candidate will frequently act as a project lead, and provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff.
This is NOT a production/administration position. Knowing how to integrate third-party software into a large-scale production environment is a must.
The ideal candidate will have had experience with Blackberry, Assentor, and/or Voltage.
Requirements:
At least 5 years experience in building and supporting a scalable, mission critical Exchange environment At least 2 years of experience with Linux and experience with SMTP mail routing and filtering Exceptional communication and documentation skills Ability to lead projects that impact the entire Enterprise
Preferred Skills:
Experience with large email migrations (Exchange/Outlook) Experience with email archiving and encryption solutions Experience with Linux Red Hat
