Sr. Web Developer – San Francisco

CDI IT Solutions is looking for a Sr. Web Developer for its client in San Francisco, CA. This is a long term contract opportunity.

Job Description:



- Uses advanced knowledge of web technologies, including C++, Java, Java Script, HTML, CGI, XML, Perl, ASP, multimedia applications, database modeling tools and/or database interactions.

- Evaluates systems specifications for client area web site requirements and determines and implements the most efficient and cost-effective software/package solution.

- Researches and tracks new web technologies, develops service applications, and analyzes business requirements as they pertain to web-based systems.

- Responsible for system quality assurance and consistency with installation and security policy and standards.

- May provide direction and guidance to less experienced staff.



Required Skills:



- 5-6 years directly related web experience.

- Experience working on highly complex, large-scale internet and intranet applications on enterprise Microsoft technology platforms.

- Expert knowledge of web technologies, including VB.Net, VB6, Java Script, HTML, ASP, IIS, SQLServer2005, database modeling tools and/or database interactions.

- Minimum Qualifications BS in Computer Science or equivalent, 7-10 years in client server technology development.

- Must have the ability to effectively communicate, collaborate and have the ability to multi-task and work under stringent timelines.

- Strong communication skills and technical documentation skills.

- C#, Ajax, Architecture, network, and security expertise would be a plus.
