Job Description:
Our client is seeking a bright and determined web developer/web designer to develop their online presence and help them drive e-commerce. This person will guide the online experience from creative concept through technical execution. The ideal candidate will be business-minded and customer-focused, able to recognize opportunities and cultivate creative solutions.
Responsibilities:
•Join forces with team on web design and developmentprojects.
•Build and optimize web pages, landing pages, display advertising, and email templates using expert-level HTML and CSS.
•Create concepts, wireframes, and designs that deliver a captivating user experience, drive user behavior and communicate key ideas. •Administer and maintain external company web properties (main site, landing pages, company blog, display ads, email, etc.) •Assist on other design/creative projects, including print, as needed.
Requirements:
• Extensive familiarity with SEO best practices.
• Good knowledge of user experience, site usability requirements, and an overall great sense of design. • Successful track record working across cross-functional teams (business and technology), with a proven ability to translate business needs into innovative Web and graphic design solutions. • Strong graphic design skills and a high degree of skill with Adobe Creative Suite applications. • Proven ability to develop and maintain Web properties.
• Relevant skills include JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Drupal. Experience implementing integration features to third-party sites and
services (e.g., Social Media APIs, Live Chat, etc.) a plus, but not required. • Experience with A/B and MVT preferred. • Understanding of online marketing conversion; experience testing/tracking user behavior through Google Analytics, Google AdWords, etc. • Strong time management and organizational skills. • Must be able to provide an online portfolio of work samples.
• 4-7 years of relevant experience as Web Designer.
• BS/BA or equivalent preferred in Digital Media, Web Design, Web Development, or related field.
