Web/PHP UI Application Developer



You will be an integral part of building the next-generation social gaming platform. We are implementing an innovative business model that showcases fun and involving gameplay merged with Web 2.0 features such as community messaging, cross-game avatars, Web services integration, social networking and more.



Qualifications:
Strong PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and web development skills, proficient in a LAMP development environment.



Description:

We're looking for a Web/PHP UI Application developer to join an online gaming startup. Ideal is someone with PHP and HTML/CSS experience with some Java Script and MySQL experience. The application developer will work with business owners to design, develop, test and deploy secure web-based social and gaming applications.



Essential Responsibilities

You should have strong skills in standards-based XHTML and CSS
, professional level Javascript, and experience with a server-side scripting language, like JSP and PHP
(see below for details). You should also be a self-starter, enjoy working in a small group, and capable of learning fast.


Required Skills:
* Standards-based XHTML, CSS

* Able to design and implement extensible, componentized HTML
and CSS

* Knowledge of CSS
best practices and third party JavaScript
libraries
* PHP
, intermediate to senior level knowledge of server-side scripting languages in order to implement presentation layer
* Clean coding: Coding by hand only
* Photoshop/GIMP production skills, including the ability to implement presentation layer from PSD files
* Can work in a Linux environment
* Able to produce easy to use, intuitive user interfaces from prototypes and wireframes
* Eye for detail, great organization skills, ability to take direction as well as to provide guidance
